Enrolling in a university is a big decision, and you don’t need a complicated admissions process slowing you down. At JU we’ve simplified the application process because we know our students demand accessibility. JU accepts and reviews applications twice per year commencing in July and December. Whether you’re looking to start a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, seeking a diploma certificate you can be on the pathway to a better future. The application takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. All applicants must be 18 years of age and demonstrate proficiency in English. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with admissions decisions sent within four weeks. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 am Ethiopian time on the application deadline unless otherwise noted.

To be considered for admission to JU, you must meet the following minimum requirements, although completing these requirements does not guarantee admission:

Undergraduate Programs
• Apply online for admission.
• Have earned a high school completion certificate.
• Meet any program-specific admissions requirements, if any.

Graduate Programs
• Apply online for admission.
• Submit an official transcript verifying receipt of your bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Meet any program-specific admissions requirements, if any.
